Billywood Construction was established in 2010 after 20 years of residential and commercial construction experience. Honesty, customer satisfaction and attention to detail have always been our driving force for success. We are a full spectrum residential construction specialist. I called Billy after seeing his great Yelp reviews and I really liked that he picked up the phone and didn't send my random number to voicemail. Super friendly, professional, and so helpful. He was on time and prices are very fair. He even helped me communicate in Spanish with some guys doing termite repairs on my house. Talk about a nice guy who cares about his customer. I 100% recommend Billy and Billywood Construction. I had a small project, just framing in doors to enclose an open laundry area. Many places I contacted either wouldn't bother with it, told me I should do it differently than what I envisioned, or tried to convince me there wasn't room to do what I wanted. Billy responded quickly and said the project seemed pretty straightforward. He gave me an estimate the same day based on photos, then was able to come out and measure the area within a few days. I even added a second small project (replacing the front door) on the fly and that was no problem. He gave good advice when I asked for his opinion. They were able to schedule the project within a couple of weeks, and it turned out fantastic! Billy was right, there was no problem doing it just the way I wanted it. They were friendly, polite, and efficient, and actually got the project done faster than predicted. I am definitely going to call Billy again in the future!

Billy was our first contractor hired for the updates to my former family home located in San Carlos, between 2011-2012. I was getting the 50 year old home updated to sell it. Billy worked on many projects within the home, kitchen plumbing, main bathroom complete floor update which include subfloor support beams, a new extended redwood patio in the backyard, and much more. We worked together very well and each project was discussed a written bid was presented and he came in on our budget for each update. Much of his work was done while we were not at this location because our main home is in another county here in Northern Calif. But pictures of the progress of all of this work was sent to me via iphone. Each project was finished in a timely manner and he always came in on our agreed budget. Billy was the most honest and thorough in his explainations. It was obvious after talking with Billy that other contractors either were hiding or didn't know about issues with the old house that had to be addressed that kept their bids lower. Billywood started when they said they would, and the entire project lasted about as long as was estimated. As with most older homes there were issues discovered once the walls were exposed, as well as requirements by the state (fire sprinklers) that came up that we weren't expecting. Billy always had solutions to these issues and handled every one of them. We are very happy with the results of all of the work that was done which you can see from several of the photos Billy posted here. Billy also follows up to check in on his work to see how things are doing. It's been almost a year since we moved back in and we couldnt be happier with our home.
